Microsofts failed bid

Was it inevitable?
Some say it was while others are a little more suprised…the one thing this whole saga highlights is Googles supremacy over their compeitors whilst exposing their competitors major weaknesses, number one being bad management…now most of us won’t find this particularly surpirsing.
Microsoft have now spent the last five years trying to turn around MSN Search and Live Search yet have failed to gain significantly. Who knows how things would have been had the bid been successful…
Google may sigh a relief though, they still rain supreme for now but who knows what the uncertain future holds. Will MSN come back and retry for Yahoo! again or will they focus elsewhere? Will Yahoo! decide where their focus lies…a content or service company?
I for one would like to see Googles supremacy taken on as it can only be good for the consumer. Greater competition means more choice equals better service and better user experiences…
